Artefacts cleverly mixes carefully chosen antique and vintage garden ornaments and objects, often reclaimed and given new leases of life and new meaning, with exciting garden furniture; for example the Tillingbourne Wheelbarrow garden bench and The Lindrick House garden water cart, as well as zinc topped and wrought iron garden tables on unusual bases, stone garden objects, decorative and unusual garden artistry and sculptures with a host of special items for both inside and outside space.

Owned and run by Graham Child who was for many years Director of furniture at Sothebys in London. Professional visits to many of Britain's stately homes, as well as research for catalogues and writing during the last forty years, has enriched a bank of knowledge and experience for choosing rare and unusual objects for both the home and garden.
